Water purification medical filters

The AMB™ (Advanced MediSulfone® Biobarrier) anti-bacterial filter is a medical device designed specifically to purify the mains water connection to the dental units: this filter’s innovative capillary membrane is indeed able to effectively and constantly filter out both bacteria and viruses thanks to the microscopic size of the pores in its walls, guaranteeing a microbiologically pure water supply for a year of continuous use.
The cut-off of the MediSulfone® membrane is just 15 kDa, and the biological performance of the filter has been validated per ASTM F 838-05 by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia – Public Health Science Department
